Human Diaspora is a dark trip hop duo formed by me, Mariah Peixoto, and Tiago Resende (aka Xorão).  After being introduced in 2021 by a common friend, we have been working on creating this project, recording and preparing our first album.

Both of us are singers and composers, and you can hear the contrast of our voices through the tracks, creating different atmospheres that flow between fragility and strength.

Our main influences come from the 90's, including bands such as: Massive Attack, Sneaker Pimps, Nine Inch Nails, Portishead, Deftones and Chelsea Wolfe. Working with this mixture, we have been creating tracks that are mostly obscure, mysterious and lustful.
